Is a certificate from Kolkata accepted before the Gauhati High Court?
Yes — Section 63(4)(c) of the BSA, 2023 is a pan-India provision. It applies identically whether the matter is before the Gauhati High Court's Assam bench or any of the other three states in its jurisdiction.
Do you have a Guwahati or Northeast office?
No. DRMLAW LLP's only offices are in Kolkata and Bengaluru. Evidence for Guwahati and Northeast matters is handled the same remote-upload-or-courier way as any out-of-state matter.
Does this also cover matters in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland or Mizoram, given the shared High Court?
The certification pipeline itself doesn't depend on which of the four states a matter is filed in — evidence is hashed and certified the same way regardless. For in-person appearances we work through senior local counsel as needed.
